2020 MAZDA CX-5 GRAND TOURING RESERVE AWD

    2.5L SKYACTIV-G TURBO 4-CYLINDER | 6-SPEED AUTOMATIC | i-ACTIV AWD | 5-PASSENGER SUV

This 2020 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve AWD combines compact-SUV practicality with a genuinely stronger turbocharged powertrain, standard all-wheel drive and a higher level of comfort than the mainstream CX-5 trims. VIN JM3KFBEY8L0754664 corresponds to the Grand Touring Reserve configuration with Mazda’s 2.5L turbocharged engine and i-ACTIV AWD. Mazda confirms the Grand Touring Reserve received the turbo engine and AWD as standard equipment for 2020.

    WHY THIS CX-5 STANDS OUT

The Grand Touring Reserve is an important distinction because this is not the standard 187-horsepower CX-5 powertrain. Its SKYACTIV-G 2.5T turbo engine produces 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque on regular 87-octane fuel, or up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft when using 93-octane premium. Mazda pairs it with a conventional 6-speed automatic and standard i-ACTIV AWD with Off-road Traction Assist.

    THE 30-SECOND EXPERT SUMMARY

This CX-5 makes sense for someone who wants the manageable dimensions of a compact SUV but does not want compact-SUV performance to feel like a compromise. The turbocharged engine provides substantially more torque than the standard CX-5 engine, while AWD adds useful traction for changing Colorado weather. The Grand Touring Reserve also moves the CX-5 toward a more premium ownership experience without requiring a larger SUV.

    WHAT YOU'LL NOTICE EVERY DAY

This trim was equipped with features that matter in regular use, including leather-trimmed seating, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a windshield-projected Active Driving Display and Bose premium audio. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were also standard.

The CX-5 provides approximately 30.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and up to 59.6 cubic feet with additional cargo space opened up. That gives you useful SUV versatility without moving into a substantially larger vehicle.

THIS CX-5 MAKES THE MOST SENSE IF...

This Mazda is a strong fit if you want AWD traction, prefer a smaller and easier-to-maneuver SUV, appreciate stronger turbocharged performance and want premium comfort features without stepping into a larger three-row vehicle.

    CONSIDER ANOTHER VEHICLE IF...

This may not be the right choice if you regularly need three-row seating, maximum cargo capacity or heavy-duty towing capability. If five-passenger versatility, AWD confidence and stronger-than-typical compact-SUV performance are higher priorities, the Grand Touring Reserve configuration makes a compelling case.

CONDITION YOU CAN SEE BEFORE YOU VISIT

A pre-owned vehicle should be represented by what can actually be verified. Review the actual vehicle photography for exterior condition, wheels and tires, leather seating surfaces, cargo area and visible wear. If there is something you would like to see more closely before visiting Celebration Chevrolet, ask us and we will help you get a better look.

WHAT WE'D WANT YOU TO KNOW

I did not find a reliable current online listing for this exact VIN that establishes its current mileage, exterior and interior colors or individual vehicle history. Those details should be confirmed from the actual vehicle rather than assumed from another CX-5. For reference, Mazda rates this configuration at 22 MPG city and 27 MPG highway.

GREAT crash protection; few minor performance flaw

by Scott on 9/6/2026 10:05:14 AM

I have owned 2 Mazda CX-5's. The first was a 2021 CX-5. The 2nd was a 2024 CX-5, and I am LIVING PROOF to share my testimonial about the crash rating. Both vehicles I owned were involved in 2 wrecks, BY the OTHER driver HITTING me. First was a nasty rollover. I walked away without a scratch, no bruise, nor injury, and it was a bad rollover, too, where I was T-boned by TRUCK that did not YIELD to me on my 2021 CX-5. 2nd accident I had was from a drunk driver in a Dodge Ram that SMASHED in to the rear of my vehicle on my 2024 CX-5. And again, I walked away without injury; no scratch, no cuts, nor bruises. So if saftey matters to you, THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST for integrity! As for reliability, the windshield on both vehicles heavily fogged up on the INSIDE, during COOL, damp/rainy weather. And both windshields were VERY PRONE to rocks cracking the windshield, so be careful to STAY WAY BACK from dump trucks! In other areas, my 2024 CX-5 had Key FOB issues where it stopped working within a month, and the 2nd one only lasted 9 months, and needed a new battery. The front headlamp, (headlight), developed a leak in my 2024 CX-5, under warranty, and was replaced, because water was collecting in the inside front headlamp. But I consider these issues TRIVIAL and MINOR, compared to engine and transmission, and air conditioning, as there were NO problems with engine, transmission, nor air conditioning. Of the 3 years I owned the 2021 CX-5 and the 2 years I owned the 2024 CX-5, I'm pleased to say I did NOT have ANY MAJOR MECHANICAL repairs nor problems to report. Sadly, the 2026 Mazda CX-5 has re-designed its bottom 3 trim levels with LOW-QUALITY SEATS. It's so repulsive, I'm looking in to a different car brand, because this 2026 re-design doesn't sit well with me. I don't like the center console that opens up in 2 different leafs, and cannot place my phone down without it falling off the edge, where the gear shift is at. The windshield wiper blades that I'm used to wiping can no longer be pulled UPward to wipe them on the 2026. That's a minor deal for the rest of ya's, but I like to keep wiper blades cleaned. They finally introduce a NEWER interactive touch screen on the 2026 design, so that's the ONLY move in the right direction with the 2026 design, but I very much DISLIKE the SEATS of the 2026 model. ONE more BIG issue to me was acceleration in both the 2021 and 2024 CX-5's that I had was SLOW and CLUNKY. There was dramatic LAG time between pushing down on the accelerator hard, and getting it to RESPOND to accelerate. I blame the HIGH weight of the vehicle at 3,856 pounds, fused together with the relatively LOW HP of only 187 HP for why acceleration is POOR in both the 2021 & 2024 Mazda CX-5's that I've owned. If you NEED rapid acceleration, THIS IS NOT the vehicle for rapid acceleration! But if SAFETY is your TOP concern, I'm living proof on both crashes that I came out unscathed -- very fortunate for the Mazda CX-5's integrity on HIGH safety! -- Scott…

      Love my CX5

by Clay Daniel on 7/2/2026 3:34:25 AM

2020 Mazda CX-5 signature edition have to say I really love this car The interior is so comfortable love all the features that come with this model only downside is the kind of poor gas mileage but I guess you get that with a turbo but you expect with a four-cylinder you might get a little better than 22 mpg…
